Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of
Mrs. Sandra Medcalf Blair
Mrs. Sandra Medcalf Blair, age 60, of Osgood, Indiana, entered this life on May 31, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the loving daughter of the late Charles and Juanita Williams Medcalf. Sandra grew up in Cincinnati and was a 1971 graduate of the North College Hill High School. She furthered her education by attending the University of Cincinnati graduating in 1975 with a degree in business and accounting. On October 28, 1983, she married Ronald David Blair in Springfield, Illinois. This union was blessed with two daughters, Kelly and Laura. Sandra and Ronald moved to the Osgood community in 1986. She had worked 12 years as a library assistant for the Milan and Osgood Libraries. She enjoyed being active in the Versailles Church of Christ, singing and crocheting. Sandra passed away surrounded by her daughters on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 12:35 p.m. at the Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.

Sandra will be missed by her loving husband of thirty years, Ronald David Blair of Osgood, Indiana; her daughters, Kelly Blair of Osgood, Indiana; Laura Chandler and her husband: Dylan of Cross Plains, Indiana; her grand-daughter, Emily Lucille Chandler of Cross Plains, Indiana; her brothers, Louis Medcalf and his wife: Sandra of Hermitage, Tennessee; Tom Medcalf and his wife: Karen of Middletown, Ohio; Russell Medcalf and his wife: Beverly of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Juanita Williams Medcalf.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., by Brother Dale Day at the Versailles Church of Christ, 115 Jarvis Drive Versailles, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Cross Plains, Indiana.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Versailles Church of Christ and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Versailles Church of Christ, 115 Jarvis Drive in Versailles, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Cemetery. Cards are available at the funeral home.
