Robert “Bob” McQuese


Robert “Bob” E. McQuese, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away April 18, 2017 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

He was born May 5, 1925 in New Albany, IN, son of the late Robert and Lora (Benjamin) McQuese.
Robert served his country as a member of the United States Navy during WWII.
He worked in the shipping department for Seagram’s Distilleries, retiring after several years of service.
Bob was an avid woodworker and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are wife of 68 years, Mabel McQuese of Aurora, IN; sons, Robert “Bill” (Joann) McQuese of Aurora, IN, and Larry McQuese of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Jason (Carla) Brown, Jamie (Tammy) Brown; Billie Jo (Dave) Morrissey; and great-grandchildren, Micah Morrissey, Ryan Morrissey, John Ashley, Levi Brown, Patrick Brown, Connor Brown, Cynthia Brown and Victoria Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 22, 2017, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be immediately following at the funeral home, with Pastor Joseph Hart officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
