VENTURA CO., Calif. – A Rising Sun native is currently serving as a judge in Southern California.
Anthony Sabo graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1985 and later obtained degrees from Indiana University and the University of North Dakota.
Sabo served as a deputy prosecutor in Dearborn and Ohio counties before moving west in 2008.
After working as a senior deputy district attorney in Ventura County, he has been appointed as a judge in the Ventura Superior Court system, according to the Dearborn County Register.
Ventura County is northwest of downtown Los Angeles and the superior court remains one of the busiest in California.
