Ripley County Community Foundation Names Streator As President

BATESVILLE – The Ripley County Community Foundation Board of Directors has elected Amy Kellerman Streator to be the Foundations next president. Streator is replacing Sally Morris who will retire in December after 17 years in that position.

Amy is a seasoned Attorney with 13 years’ experience as a managing partner in the Kellerman Law Firm, Batesville, Indiana.    She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University in 1997 with a major in History, and a Juris Doctor Degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2000.  Amy is currently Legal Counsel to the Eagle Fire Department Oldenburg, Town of Sunman, Town of Oldenburg, and the Utilities Board for the Town of Oldenburg.

Amy and her husband Randy and four children reside in Batesville and are all active in the community.  Amy is the 6th grade Basketball coach for St. Louis School; American Legion Auxiliary; VFW Auxiliary life time member; Phi Beta Psi Sorority; Batesville Chamber of Commerce; Ripley County Bar Association; Batesville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary; and the Batesville Sesquicentennial Planning Committee.

Streator said, “It is a privilege for me to be the President of the Foundation and to continue growing the Foundation and spreading its benefits to the Ripley County citizens.”

In a news release, the Foundation state that they believe Streator is well prepared to continue and surpass the growth of the 10 ½ Million Dollar Foundation and provide the leadership to enchance community pride and promote and facilitate “connecting people who care with causes that matter”.
