Richard Ray “Rick” Stanley, 56 of Medora, IN passed away at his home November 2, 2016. Rick was born Wednesday November 14, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of James and Elfrieda (Schmitt) Stanley. He married Carol (Collins) Stanley February 19, 2015 and she survives.
Rick was a truck driver for E & J Trucking. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, but his family was what he cared about the most.
Rick is survived by wife: Carol Stanly of Medora, IN; step-son: David Goss of Medora, IN; daughter: Marissa Stanley of Hope, IN; step-daughters: Mary Goss of Medora; Hayley (Johnathan) Davers of Medora, IN; Samantha Wagner of Columbus, IN; parents: James and Elfrieda Stanley of Milan, brothers: Tom (Wanda) Stanley of Aurora, IN; James W. Sr. (Brenda) Stanley of Milan. 3 Step-Grandchildren, 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 step nephews, 1 step-niece.
Visitation will be 4-6PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Laws-Carr-Moore funeral home. Memorials may be given to Donor’s Choice.
