Richard Lee Day, 68, of Aurora, passed away on August 20, 2016 at Batesville, IN.
He was born on March 1, 1948 to the late,James and Edith (Armstrong) Day at Munich, Germany. Richard worked as a Line Operator for Pri-Pak for over 15 years. Richard was a Past Master of Hopewell Lodge #80 F&AM, and an honorary member of several other lodges in the area. He was loved and will be missed by all of his lodge brothers. He also enjoyed woodworking, leather working, amature Hamm Radio, and black powder guns. He was a major jokester. He loved making everyone laugh and could remember a vast array of jokes. Richard’s family was his most precious gift and he will be greatly missed.
Richard is survived by his loving spouse, Pam nee Peterson; children, Deborah Deckard(Chris Westerfield), Dennise Donaldson (Steven Watkins,) Dennis Donaldson Jr., Daniel (Kelly) Donaldson; Siblings, James (Sheri) Day, Wilma (Mike) Gardiner, Mary Day, Terry (Teresa) Day; grandchildren, Katelin (Tommy) Allen, Brooke(Daniel) Murray, Sarah Donaldson, Dennis Donaldson III, Conner Donaldson,Cameron Donaldson, Sadie Donaldson, Shelby Donaldson and Savahanna Donaldson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana. Masonic Services will be held at 7:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Moores Hill, IN.
