Powerful Storm System Moves Through Southeast Indiana

Keep the umbrella nearby as a storm system is moving through the area Monday with more rain predicted throughout the week.

Southeast Indiana could likely be issued a weather warning or watch Monday as a line of heavy rain and thunderstorms move east through the region. The main threat will be damaging winds and large hail.

A second storm system will move through the region this afternoon and into early Tuesday morning. It has of the potential for heavy rainfall, flooding and possible isolated tornadoes.

The National Weather Service predicts more rain in the area this week with a chance of showers each day up to the weekend.
