Batesville Police responded to a residence at Village in the Woods apartments on Tekulve Road for a report of an armed robbery on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m.

The victim, a 44 year-old man, reported he was awakened in his bedroom by a male suspect armed with a knife. The victim told police he was forced into the living room of the residence, where he observed a second suspect, also armed with a knife.
