Pearl Feller

pearl fellerPearl Feller, age 89, of Sunman Indiana, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at her residence.

Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter to Robert and Stanley Hurst Reed.  Pearl married Cornelius O. Feller and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1999.  She was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked at US Shoe in Harrison.  Pearl enjoyed farming and spending time with her family.

Survivors includ; sons, Jerome Feller (Marsha McCleery) of Sunman, and Charlie (Freida) Feller of Brookville; daughters, Dorothy Noel of Brookville, Mary Bryant of Sunman, Margie (Duane) Reese of Brookville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great, great, great grandchildren, as well as brother, Benny (Margie) Reed of Sunman.  Besides her parents and husband Cornelius, Pearl was preceded in death by brother Lonzo Reed; sisters, Clarabelle Townsend, Helen Miller, Gladys Ariens and Virgie Waddell.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville with services beginning at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

The Batesville United Methodist Church, in partnership with Margaret Mary Health, will soon be offering a cancer support group whose goal is to ensure access to valuable community resources to those living with cancer. The group will also provide hope, encouragement, education and sanctuary. HOPE will meet on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Batesville United Methodist Church and will feature a guest speaker, time for topic discussion and fellowship. The Batesville community and beyond are invited to attend! The first session is scheduled for Thursday, June 26 and will feature a discussion around the emotional rollercoaster of cancer and the fear of recurrence.
