    VFW Post 3183 American Legion Post 271 The Honor Guard and Firing Squad will honor our deceased beterans with a brief ceremony at each of six local cemetereis. Each ceremony will consist of a brief prayer, three volleys of fire and the playing of Taps. The schedule is as follows: 8:00 AM – Holy family Cemetery (Oldenburg) 8:30 AM – Saint Anthony Cemetery (Morris) 9:00 AM – Saint Mark Cemetery 9:30 AM – Saint John Cemetery (Huntersville) 10:00 AM – Saint Louis Cemetery 10:30 AM – Methodist Cemetery This will be followed by Memorial Day observance at Liberty Park at 11:00 AM, hosted by the American Legion. The Sunman American Legion will have a military service at the cemetery at 11 AM. Also, the United Methodist Women are service a roast beef dinner from 11 AM to 1 PM. The menu also includes mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, various salads, and homemade pies. Freewill offering. Carry-outs at $9.
