Over Ninety Turned Out For YMCA 5K

Despite the heat, the Southeastern Indiana YMCA had an impressive turnout for the 2014 Music & Arts 5K Walk/ Run last week. Ninety-one participants of all ages completed the 3.1 mile route, with many more cheering them on as they crossed the finish line.

Southeastern Indiana YMCA Executive Director, Angie Johnson said, “It was a great opportunity for families to walk together, as well as for students to take advantage of the discounted student rate. Becca Haugh, our wellness coordinator, and David Hoover, our senior program director did a great job planning the event for the community.”
