OSGOOD – Familiar faces and places will be seen in over 85 million households beginning next Tuesday and through the month.

NBC Sports filmed the Howes Lube/ Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series event held at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in June. The pull was part of the F.A.R.M Club’s annual Antique Tractor Show.

The coverage airs every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. for the next month on the network channel.

“This is great for the entire community, and now the nation will know about how great things are in Osgood,” said F.A.R.M. Club’s spokesman Chuck Heck.  “As far as we know, the pull was the largest event ever held at the Ripley County Fairgrounds, and now everyone can enjoy the pull again, or for the first time if they missed it this past June.”

The show will capture the pulling action that took place on Saturday night. Coverage also includes several shots of the town of Osgood, including the Damm Theatre and Osgood Grub Co.

“We wanted the shows to feature not just the great pulling action, but to also showcase the city of Osgood, and we think everyone will like what they see,” commented Heck.

Some community organizations were interviewing during filming including the Ripley County Tourism Bureau and Southeastern Indiana REMC.

NBC Sports Network airs on certain cable and satellite networks. For select ETC customers it is on channel 280; DirecTV customers view it on 220 and Dish Network customers can access it on channel 159.
