Ohio Woman Suffers Injury After Snowmobile Accident

Indiana Conversation Officers are investigating a snowmobile accident that occurred near Dover on Saturday night.

Jessica Sellers, 34, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was operating a snowmobile at the Country View Golf Course off of Hyland Road with three other people when the accident occurred.

According to authorities, witness statements report that Sellers attempted to cross a concrete bridge on the golf course when she lost control while maneuvering down a slope and hit a bridge. After hitting the bridge, the snowmobile rolled over pinning her beneath it.

She was transported by ambulance to Dearborn County Hospital and was later transferred to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

According to the DNR, she suffered neck injuries however no broken bones were reported.

DNR officials believe alcohol may be a factor in the accident, and it remains under investigation.
