North Vernon Shooting Range Reopens Friday

NORTH VERNON – The Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area shooting range will reopen Friday after being closed for renovations since January.

Department of Natural Resources officials say improvements to the facility make it safer and more enjoyable.

The Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area will now be manned by the DNR and there is no fee to shoot. The facility will no longer offer a shotgun range due to safety concerns.

Crosley is located south of North Vernon and range hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
