VERSAILLES, Ind. – The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA) is receiving $100,000 in matching funds from Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF).

The NMLRA started an endowment fund with the RCCF and has received small grants in the past.

“This endowment fund will allow the NMLRA to continue to promote, support and preserve the sport of

muzzle loading and to build an enduring source of charitable assets which will benefit the NMLRA and the citizens of Ripley County for generations to come,” the organization said in a statement.

In October, RCCF announced that it had received $500,000 from Lilly Endowment Inc.’s GIFT VI initiative to use to match donations to RCCF. This matching opportunity has generated a great deal of interest and is available only while funds last.

Citizens and organizations can take advantage of this opportunity by contacting RCCF at its office located at 4 South Park Avenue, Suite 210, Batesville or at (812) 933-1098.
