Monday City Council Meeting First For New Member

Monday marks the first meeting for a new city council member in Batesville.

Jim Fritsch was elected to the District 3 seat following the departure of Bob Narwold.

Narwold held the post for ten years prior to accepting a position with the Batesville Buildings department.

Batesville’s Board of Works and City Council meeting will be the first as a member for Fritsch. Members are expected to weigh in on several issues including a parking ordinance restriction, fireman’s PERF and also discuss a proposed shell building.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Batesville Memorial Building.
