Miriam C. Hartman

Miriam C. Hartman, age 59 of Sunman, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville.

 Born March 5, 1955 in Ripley County she was the daughter of August and Hilda Brunsman Hartman. She had attended St. Nicholas school and was a member of St. Nicholas Church. Miriam worked at home with family and also at New Horizons. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching TV and making hook rugs.

 Those surviving who will honor Miriam’s memory include siblings, Rita (Russell) Eckstein of Batesville, Maurice (Mary Ann) Hartman of Sunman, Michael (Martha) Hartman of Tampa, FL, Allen (Norma) Hartman of Batesville, Ellen (Norb) Kirschner of Oldenburg, Robert (Peg) Hartman of Anderson, Harold (Jo Ann) Hartman of Sunman, and Dan (Zita) Hartman of Franklin, OH; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

 Visitation is Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Rosary will begin at 3:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Rev. Shaun Whittington is Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
