millie brownMildred I “Millie” Long Brown, 77,  of Aurora, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Sunday, December 6, 1936 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Daughter of the late Emery Knippenberg and the late Bonnie Hynds Knippenberg.

Millie was a avid reader and she enjoyed collecting Longaberger Baskets, it was one of her favorite hobbies.  She loved her family and her dog Mistee and she will be greatly missed by all.

She worked as a Inventory Clerk  for Seagram’s Distillery, retiring after over 30 years of service.

Surviving are her husband, Harry Brown and sons, Jeffrey Long, Marc Long and Michael Long all of Aurora, IN;  siblings, Laura Mae Brooks of Lawrenceburg, IN, Major Knippenberg of Ross, OH; Grandchild, Zachary Long of Aurora, IN; God Child, Traci Cooley, Step-children, Amy, Michael, Jennifer, Sarah and Emily.

Friends will be received 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 2:00 pm immediately following visitation.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
