Messer (R-Ind) announced Affordable Care Act sessions in southeast Indiana.

Informational sessions about the Affordable Care Act will be held this week, courtesy of Congressman Luke Messer and his staff.

The 6th District lawmaker says while most people he talks to are not in support of the healthcare law, he believes it’s important that Hoosiers understand it and what it means to them.

Several of Messer’s staff members will host a presentation and provide information, including Director of Operations Tim Hawkins and Policy Director John Hatter.

A meeting will be held Tuesday afternoon from 3-4p.m. in Connersville at the City Council Chambers, 500 N. Central Avenue.

Informational sessions will be held in various places on Wednesday, Feb. 26:

  • 10 to 11 a.m. in Brookville at the Commissioner’s Room in the Franklin County Government Center, 1010 Franklin Avenue.
  • 1 to 2 p.m.  in Lawrenceburg at the Dearborn County Administration Building, 215 W. High St.
  • 3 to 4 p.m.  in Versailles at the Ripley County Annex Building, 102 First N St.
