Infant Lucas John Smith, 1 month 15 days old passed December 1, 2016 at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lucas was the son of Johnnie Smith Jr. and Melissa Sowders.
Other survivors include Maternal grandparents: Michael (Linda Tanner) Sowders of Savannah, Georgia; Maternal Great Grandmother: Addie Tanner of Michigan; Paternal grandmother: Sharon Cantwell of Aurora; Brothers: Twin Logan Smith, Jaden and Mason Smith, Ryder Iles, Joshua Egan Jr. Sisters: Alyssa Strickling, Jordyn Thompson, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lucas was preceded in death by maternal grandfather: Earl Tanner, Maternal great-grandmother Mildred Baker, Paternal grandfather Johnnie Smith Sr. and sister Angel Sowders, Paternal step-grandfather David Cantwell.
