Congratulations to The Oldenburg Academy Lady Twisters, The Franklin County Lady Wildcats and The Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers on capturing their respective Girls Tennis Sectional Titles.
OA was victorious at The South Dearborn Sectionals by defeating the host Lady Knights 4-1 and will advance on to The Richmond Regionals to take on The Centerville Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, May 24th. Lady Twisters winners were Angela Wanstrath 6-0, 6-0; Margaret Glaser 6-0, 6-0; Anya Smith/Ashley Sedler 6-3, 6-0; and Hanna Hurm/Sarah Preston 6-3, 6-2.
FC blanked The Union County Lady Patriots 5-0 to win The Connersville Sectionals and will battle The Shenandoah Lady Raiders at The Richmond Regionals on Tuesday, May 24th.
SM edged out The Madison Lady Cubs 3-2 to take The Greensburg Sectionals and will square off against The Seymour Sectional winner between the host Lady Owls and The Austin Lady Eagles at The Bloomington North Regionals on Tuesday, May 24th.
