EC Volleyball celebrated senior night tonight. Both the JV and Varsity teams swept S. Ripley in straight sets. Varsity won with the scores of 25-17, 25-6, and 25-19.
Tonight was about our seniors. We have six very talented seniors, so when I thought about it, it only made sense to let all six of them play the entire first set by themselves. No subbing. There were no “specialty” players in that first set. It was great to watch and see them put everything they’ve learned over the years together and to do it successfully.
In the second set, we went back to our normal lineup. We put everything together very well. In the third set, we played our bench players and let the seniors finish out the last ten points.

Varsity is now 22-6 on the season.
Next up: We return to conference play tomorrow traveling to Franklin County.
