St. Nicholas 7th and 8th grade teams both pick up 2 wins on the road so far this week against Mt. Carmel on 8/25 and St. Michael’s on 8/24.
7th grade defeated St. Michaels in 3 sets with scores of 25-20,16-25, and 15-5. Katie Johnson and Jessica Rees both went 8/9 serving with 2 Aces each. They defeated Mt. Carmel in 2 sets with scores of 25-18 and 25-14. Jessica Rees went 15/15 serving with 4 Aces, and Ella Fledderman went 11/11 with 5 Aces.
8th grade defeated St. Michaels in 2 sets with scores of 25-8 and 25-10. Ella Fledderman served 25/26 with 6 Aces, and Molly Gregg served 8/9 with 1 Ace. They also defeated Mt. Carmel in 2 sets: 25-13 and 25-5. Molly Gregg went 14/14 with 7 Aces serving, and Amelia Hartman went 10/11 with 2 Aces.
St. Nicholas will play Milan Middle School at Milan on Thursday, August 27.
