EC vs SD Varsity VB (8-20)

‘We had a rough game on Monday, but bounced back and proved what we are capable of doing. We were aggressive from the service line which led to an amazing 20 aces as a team.’   ‘We kept our focus on our goals we set a couple weeks ago and it seemed to pay off. It kept our mind set on certain things as the game continued. The girls did a great job at implementing some key points we have been stressing at practice. All in all, I am proud of the team effort.’  Trojans Coach Cassie Laker.

EC JV won in 2 against South Dearborn 25-14 and 25-9.

‘Tonight the girls showed improvement on the offense with Hannah Johnson, Olivia Langefeld, and Mackenzie Ewing leading in attacks. The team continues to work on maintaining our momentum and having great serves. Leading servers were Catherine Gregg, Anita Alig, and Sammi Skeens.’  Trojans Coach Bernice Rosemeyer.

Next up is the Southport Invitational on Saturday for JV and Varsity. All three teams will play in the home opener on Tuesday against Rushville with a Freshmen/JV start time of 6pm.
