Lady Raiders Fall To Lady Trojans In Volleyball

VolleyballSouth Ripley lost in three sets tonight to East Central. Scores were 25-19, 25-14, 21-14.

“East Central was by far the quickest team we have seen all year.” “We actually started off very strong and with a 7–3 lead and stayed with them until a 14-14 tie, but serve receive reared it’s ugly head again with them scoring 5 unanswered points, and we just couldn’t recover. The speed of the game was a problem for us, we just couldn’t get into any type of an offensive rhythm. The next two sets were much the same. We were scoring 2 points to their 5, and that just doesn’t work out very well.”  raiders Coach Robyn Greiwe.

However, we will need to bounce back quickly because we have three straight conference games to end the season. We have Senior Night this Thursday against Madison Shawe, and play Rising Sun next Tuesday, and Jac-Cen-Del next Friday, all three are must win conference games.
