Basketball HoopsThe St Louis 7th grade girls basketball team lost their 2nd game of the season to the Greensburg Pirates by a final score of 37 to 26.

A slow start in the first quarter was the difference in the game. St Louis was outscored 12 to 3.

All 7 St Louis players made the scoring column, lead by Harlee Masavage with 7 points, Kate Burkhart & Hailey Mohr were next with 5 points each. Avery Roell had 4 points, Hanna Hurm & Stella Hillenbrand each had 2 points. Kate Poltrack added 1.

Scores by quarter. Greensburg 12 St Louis 3; Greensburg 23 St Louis 13;

Greensburg 29 St Louis 20; Greensburg 37 St Louis 26.

The Batesville United Methodist Church, in partnership with Margaret Mary Health, will soon be offering a cancer support group whose goal is to ensure access to valuable community resources to those living with cancer. The group will also provide hope, encouragement, education and sanctuary. HOPE will meet on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Batesville United Methodist Church and will feature a guest speaker, time for topic discussion and fellowship. The Batesville community and beyond are invited to attend! The first session is scheduled for Thursday, June 26 and will feature a discussion around the emotional rollercoaster of cancer and the fear of recurrence.
