ND lost to Knightstown on Thursday, Sept 11th in 4 sets in varsity volleyball action 15-25, 18-25, 25-22, 25-27.
The ND JV team won against Knightstown in 2 sets 25-17, 25-24.
A sluggish start frustrated the Lady Chargers. Both teams were hitting the ball hard. The difference in the game was North’s struggle in accuracy of serve receive. Knightstown was in system most of the night.
When North Decatur was in system, they out hit the Panthers for several kills. However, the unforced errors in all 4 areas of serve receive, passing, setting, and hitting were the death of the Chargers.
The Lady Chargers serve well, just like they did against South Decatur when they only had 3 service errors in 67 serves. They just didn’t clean up the errors until the 3rd game.
