Batesville starts slow but comes to redemption against greensburg. Last time we just showed up, this time we played batesville ball except for about 13 points of the match. We went down 8-0 in the first set before we calmed ourselves and got into a groove. It was still a struggle, but we managed an extended point win. The other 5 points we went to the darkside on came in the middle of the second set where our communication just dropped and we tossed the pirates five unanswered points. Set three was all Dogs!
So All teams won their last home match of the season, giving everyone a taste of what is to come in the next year or so…
Varsity over Pirates: 33-31, 25-16, 25-18. Varsity finishes above .500 in the regular season going 17-16 overall and 9-5 in the EIAC.
Batesville vs. Greensburg Varsity VB (10-14)
JV Downs Pirates: 25-22, 21-25, 15-12. JV finishes above .500 going 12-11 overall, 8-6 in the EIAC.
Batesville vs. Greensburg JV VB (10-14)
Freshman defeat visiting South Decatur: 25-15, 25-22. Megan Butz had six aces in the win and Kelsey roell had four kills. The Freshman finish 5-8 on the season.
