The Batesville Girl’s Tennis team defeated East Central on Tuesday to improve their record to 2-0 on season (2-0 in EIAC).
#1 Singles- Lydia Olsen defeated Lizzy Weigel 6-0, 6-0.
#2 Singles- Karsen Worthington defeated Shelby Lutz 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
#3 Singles- Erin Longstreth defeated Lizzie Kern 6-2, 7-5.
#1 Doubles- Brooke Bradfod and Kelli Hartman defeated Gwen Kern and Morgan Webber 6-3, 6-3.
#2 Doubles- Macy Simon and Julia Hunter defeated Lindsay Bischoff and Meredith Struewing 6-1, 6-1.
In JV action Batesville won 7-1. Alana Pinkley, Rachael Rose, and Audrey Weigel won in singles, while the doubles teams of Gabby Cooper/Grace Heppner, Anna Kick/Jenna Harmeyer, Chandni Patel/Maggie Schwettman, and Jill Hartman/Baylee Rohlfing.
Batesville will play at home against Franklin County on Thursday at 4:30 PM at Batesville.
