The Batesville Girl’s Tennis team defeated Connersville 5-0 on Friday to improve thier record to 3-0 on the season and 3-0 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Alana Pinckley defeated Alexis Johnson 6-1, 6-2.
#2 Singles- Rachael Rose defeated Savannah Drew 6-1, 6-0.
#3 Singles- Jenna Harmeyer defeated Kylie Jones 6-1, 6-0.
#1 Doubles- Karsen Worthington and Macy Simon defeated Shelby Brown and Taylor Steele 6-3, 7-5.
#2 Doubles- Audrey Weigle and Anna Kick defeated Faith Kaler and Amanda Simpkins 6-0 ,6-1.
In JV, Batesville defeated Connersville 6-0 in six doubles matches. Winners were Mary Elkins & Grace Heppner, Chandni Patel & Sophie Brown, Baylee Rohlfing & Maggie Schwettman, Corinne Stone & Kate Poltrack, Bea Amberger & Jenna Ertel, and Caityln Broering & Maggie Walsman. The JV is also 3-0.
