With 14 runs in the first three innings, the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An RBI single by Hannah Putnam, a wild pitch, a groundout by Sarah Meyer, a walk by Breanna Hartman, a passed ball, and a two-run single by Katie Thomas during the first inning and an error, a walk by Madeline Cook, a passed ball, an error, an RBI single by Thomas, an RBI double by Whitney Axsom, and an RBI single by Hannah Putnam in the second inning helped the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity put some runs on the board early. Hannah Putnam racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity.
