The 7th grade Lady Dogs fell to Sunman-Dearborn in the championship game by the score 33-22.
The Lady Dogs trailed by 3 points at halftime and by 4 points after 3 quarters. A quick start to the 4th quarter for the Trojans proved too much for the team to overcome.
Liz Heidlage was the leading scorer with 10 points. Offensively, Carlie Werner and Ellie Cassidy added 8 and 4 points respectively. Anna Bauer, Macy Prickel, and Kari Reer were contributors on the defensive end with key steals, rebounds, and a blocked shot.
The team ends the season with a 9-5 record.
