The 7th grade Batesville Middle School volleyball team faced Greensburg in the season opener falling by the scores 25-16, 25-16.
Kylie Laker led all servers with 10 points including 4 aces. Nikki Fox added 5 points including 2 aces.
The 8th grade BMS volleyball got off to a great start winning the first game 25-20, but fell in the next two games 25-18, 15-11.
Macy Prickel, 12 points including 6 aces, and Abby Westerfeld, 11 points including 3 aces, were the leading servers. Anna
Bauer chipped in with 7 service points including 6 consecutive in the final game. Kayla Meyer was agressive at the net with 2 kills and 2 blocks. Bauer, Westerfeld, and Prickel all contributed a kill in the front line.
The teams will be at home on Thursday vs. Jac-Cen-Del. Come out and support the Lady Dogs!
