The Batesville 7th grade volleyball team fell to North Decatur in 2 games. Scores were 15-25; 24-25. Anna Bauer led the team with 6 service points, while Sydney Huffner hit all 6 of her serves earning 3 points. Alyssa Butler chipped in with 2 points as she was perfect on all 3 of her service attempts. Claire Lecher and Sydney Huffner were each credited with a kill.
The 8th grade volleyball team overcame a slow start to earn the victory over North Decatur by the scores 17-25; 25-19; 15-9. Kylie Wanninger continued her consistent serving with a 16 for 17 effort earning 11 points including 5 aces. Kelsey Shupe and Caitlynn Werner were each 8 for 9 serving earning 7 and 4 points respectively. Caitlynn Werner had 4 kills, while Kelsey Shupe, Maggie Walsman, and Tori Kurtz knocked in 3 a piece.
The next game will be vs. Milan at home on Thursday. Come out and support the teams!
