All five positions of the Batesville girls varsity tennis team were winners in the opening round of the EIAC Tournament on Thursday.
#1 Singles- Lydia Olsen defeated Lauren Mohr (FC) 6-1, 6-0.
#2 Singles- Erin Longstreth defeated Courtney Nelson (Greensburg) 6-0, 6-1.
#3 Singles- Julia Hunter defetead Cera Hutchinson (Lawrenceburg) 6-2, 6-1.
#1 Doubles- Brooke Bradford/Kelli Hartman defeated Tana Stang/Hailey Beneker (Franklin County) 6-0, 6-1.
#2 Doubles- Macy Simon/Karsent Worthington defeated Bridgette Welter/Payten Brower (Rushville) 6-1, 6-1.
Batesville will play in semi-finals/finals on Saturday at Greensburg starting at 9:00 AM.
