The 7th grade BMS volleyball team picked up their first win of the season defeating Jac-Cen-Del by the scores 25-6; 25-15.
Abigail Westerfeld was an impressive 19 for 20 serving earning 19 points. Macy Prickel chipped in offensively with 8 service points and 2 kills at the net, while Alyssa Butler earned 2 points and had 1 kill in the front line. Ellie Cassidy and Sarah Ronnebaum played strong games in the back row for Coach Waechter.
The 8th grade BMS volleyball team also was victorious vs. Jac-Cen-Del in 2 games. Scores were 25-22; 25-20.
Maggie Walsman was the top server connecting on all 13 of her serves earning 10 points including 6 aces. Jennifer Speer and Katie Bohman each
contributed five service points, while Kelsey Shupe earned 4 points from the service line for the Lady Dogs. Hattie Westerfeld notched 3 kills to lead the team, while Tori Kurtz and Speer each had 1 kill at the net.
