Although rumors of Batesville’s Kroger store moving locations are in full swing, company officials say that is not the case.
If you haven’t heard about it, some people say Kroger will move its store less than a mile up the road near Mall’s Corner in Batesville.
A company spokesman at the corporate office said Tuesday that the change of location is frankly just hear-say.
“We are perfectly happy where we are currently at,” the corporate official cited. The spokesman did hint that some potential remodeling may be made this year at the 1034 S.R. 229 location.
Kroger has been at its current locale for a decade.
