John Warren Thrasher, 61 of Dillsboro passed away Friday September 16, 2016 at his residence after a two year battle with cancer. John was born Wednesday August 24, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Eugene Warren and Romona (Owen) Thrasher. John enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, fishing, and any kind of animals.
John is survived by wife Debra Piazza, son Allen Piazza, grandson Gabriel Allen Piazza, mother Romona Thrasher, sisters Jeannine Clark, April Holm, Lisa Voiles, Janet Thrasher, Laura McIntosh, Andrea Rhodes Wilson, Audrey Snyder, and brother Anthony.
Services will be at 7PM Wednesday September 21 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Beatley officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
