JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. — Over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department conducted a travel enforcement blitz.
During the 24 hour period, deputies wrote 97 tickets.
No arrests were made for drunk driving.
The department participates in the blitz for safety.
During the holidays, more individuals and families are traveling.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department was one of over 250 law enforcement agencies to receive funding from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to participate in the blitz.
