A Jennings County man is behind bars after police say he supplied the drugs that caused his wife’s death.

Emergency personnel responded to the 700 block of Country Manor in North Vernon on April 5 after receiving a report that 23-year-old Jesse Jo Louden-Jackson was found unresponsive.

She was transported to the hospital where she later died.

Detectives say the investigation revealed that her husband, 33-year-old Jeremy Jackson supplied her with the fatal dose of meth.

He was arrested on April 11 and is currently facing charges of murder, dealing and possession of methamphetamine.

He is currently lodged in the Jennings County Jail.
