Jean Zinser Cordero, 87

Jean Zinser Cordero, 87, of New Alsace, Indiana passed Wednesday. She leaves her loving husband, Augustine Cordero, and her beloved family Larry Zinser, Martin Zinser and Doris Boyd all of New Alsace, Indiana. She also leaves her sisters Marcella Capurro of Reno, Nevada and Wanda Helton of North Vernon, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Zinser.

Jean was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church,New Alsace, Indiana, a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Paul’s Church, and a member of Ladies Auxillary of New Alsace Legion 452.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul School.

Visitation is Friday, Oct. 18, 1-3 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 all at St. Paul Catholic Church in New Alsace, Indiana.

As part of their 2015 Summer Reading Program, the Batesville Memorial Public Library will be hosting “Silly Safaris” on Tuesday, July 7 at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm (participants can choose either time). Starring Coyote Chris, this event will teach young readers about animal super heroes and the amazing things they do!
