Osgood, IN — Kindergarten registration for Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School will be held on Thursday, April 1 from 1 pm to 5:30 pm. All children must be five years of age on or before September 1 to attend kindergarten during the 2021-2022 school year.
Parents and registering kindergarten students are requested to attend. Parents will meet with the kindergarten teachers and will also meet with the school nurse to discuss the child’s immunization record and any health concerns. The transportation director will be available to discuss bus routes.
You must bring your child’s official birth certificate. The certificate from the hospital is not acceptable. Parents must also bring the doctor or clinic record of the child’s immunizations. The Ripley County Health Department, Margaret Mary Community Hospital, and Decatur County Hospital will be happy to assist in giving any vaccines needed for your child, or you may contact your primary healthcare provider.
Your child will not be officially registered for kindergarten until an official birth certificate and an updated immunization record are on file at the school.
