An Indiana University student was a passenger on the plane that was shot down Thursday in Ukraine.
Karlijn Keijzer, 25, was on Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 that crashed killing all 298 passengers on board.
She was a former member of the IU rowing team and was pursuing a doctorate in chemistry at the Bloomington campus.
She was a native of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
