Iseral “Zeke” Bishop, of Versailles, Indiana, formerly of Lawrenceburg & Aurora, Indiana, passed away May 19, 2017 in Madison, IN.
He was born June 9, 1944 in Kentucky , son of the late John C. Bishop and Ellen Bishop
He was a sod farmer for over 50 years and then he retired from HK Systems, building pallets, with over 19 years of service.
He was a member of Church of Christ in North Vernon and Madison, IN. Zeke loved to fish, enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team and the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team. He loved to be with his family and was a good hard working man. He will be missed by all.
Surviving are Wife, Vickie Bishop of Versailles, IN; Daughter, Deanna (Charles Moorehead)) Bishop of Lawrenceburg, IN; Sons, Jerrold (Sherry) Bishop of Holton, IN, Michael (Shaye) Bishop of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Lee Bishop of Versailles, IN; sisters, Delphia Barrett & Lulla Byrd of Booneville, KY; grandchildren, Kendra Bishop, Devin & Haley Bishop Jordan & Jacob Bishop, Dakota, Dillon & Kera Bishop.
He was preceded in death by Father, John C. Bishop, Mother, Ellen Bishop, Brothers, Ronnie & Birchell Bishop.
Friends will be received Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be at the Funeral Home, at 2:30 pm, following visitation, with Brother Gary Sandusky officiating.
Interment will follow in the Holton Cemetery, Holton, IN
