Inge Clara Fluegeman, 87 of Milan passed away Monday April 7, 2014 at Ripley Crossing.  Inge was born Monday September 27, 1926 in Cincinnati the daughter of Bernhard and Anna (Agenessens-Mayer) Schoene.  She married Gilbert Fluegeman who survives.  Inge was a homemaker and a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church at Milan, was a great seamtress and made American girl and Barbie Doll clothes, liked traveling, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Inge is survived by her husband, Gilbert, sons Ken (Marge) Fluegeman of Moores Hill, Doug (fiancé Robin) Fluegeman of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, daughters Deborah Rothermel of Dayton, Ohio, Chris (Rick) Denton of  Milan, Sharon (Charley) Mahoney of  Ft. Thomas, Ky, Therese Graves of Franklin, In, Janine Fluegeman of Milan, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 2 sons David and Michael Fluegeman.

Funeral mass will be 2PM Friday April 11, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Milan with Father Frank Eckstein officiating.  Burial will follow in New Craven Cemetery at Milan.  Visitation will be 12-2PM Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials will be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or New Horizons “Day Program.”  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan entrusted with arrangements.707 S. Margaret Mary Health has partnered with Hoxworth BloodCenter, University of  Cincinnati to host a Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 8:00am-11:00am & 12:15pm-2:00pm.  The Hoxworth Donor Bus will parked on the lot, located at 312 Mitchell Ave., in Batesville, IN.   To schedule your appointment, please visit www.hoxworth.org/groups/margaretmary or call the laboratory at (812) 933-5274.  Hoxworth recognizes that blood donors’ time is valuable.  Priority will be given to donors who have scheduled an appointment.  Walk-in donors are welcome and will be seen as soon as possible.   “Local blood donors ensure that local patients at 30 area hospitals receive the lifesaving blood products they need to survive,” said Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson.  “Community blood drives are vitally important and we hope to see a good turnout at the Margaret Mary Health blood drive.”   How to Donate: Donating blood is safe and easy.  Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed parental consent) and in good health.  Individuals must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate.  It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.   About Hoxworth: Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938 and proudly serves 30 hospitals in 17 counties in[...]
