Ima Jean Cox Cook, 81 of Osgood, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Manderley Health Care.  She was born on March 19, 1935 in Litt Carr, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Riley J. Parks and Ora Hylton Parks.  Ima Jean married Earl Cox on September 5, 1953.  He preceded her in death on August 27, 1990.  She married Carlos Cook on November 10, 2002, who also preceded her in death on September 30, 2008.  Ima Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and wife.  She was a member of Big Creek Old Regular Baptist Church in Dupont, Indiana.  Ima Jean enjoyed working on the farm, gardening, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Pamela (Mike) Johnson of Osgood; Carol (Ed) Rudolph of Versailles; Tony (Marilyn) Cox of Osgood; and Cheryl White of Madison.  Also surviving are her brothers Wayne Mullins, Amburgey, Kentucky, Billy (Connie) Mullins, Amburgey, Kentucky, and her sister Josephine (David) Mullins, Whitesburg, Kentucky along with 10 grandchildren and 17  great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by daughter Sharon Klusman; brothers Randell Parks, Albert Mullins and Rohndall Mullins; and sister Maxine Franklin.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood, Indiana with funeral services following.  Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill, Indiana.

Memorials may be given to the Forest Hill Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
