High Water Areas Could Threaten Motorists This Weekend

The National Weather Service announced a flood watch in effect through Sunday morning. Several counties in the area are under the flood watch, as rivers and streams are expected to flood. The flood threat is increased by the snow melting.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution while driving. Water over the road can be become a potential danger, and the officials ask commuters to not drive through the water and use an alternate route.

Please join us as a special guest. The public is also welcomed to attend and may purchase their $8.00 ticket at the door. Chef Adam has selected a delicious buffet breakfast. We will start our day in prayer, enjoying fellowship with community, church leaders, and friends in the Batesville area. Danielle Hountz from Batesville high School will be singing and Reverend Jill K. Campbell of St. Mark Lutheran Church will be the guest speaker. You are also invited to attend the Community Prayer Service, presented by the Batesville Ministerial Association at the Gazebo, located in the Village Green, downtown Batesville at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 5. This tradition is in its’ 5th year and will be led by various Ministers from the area. Lunch will be provided following the service.
