Greensburg Police: Shooting Claims Life Of Juvenile

Authorities are releasing more information about the shooting that took the life of a teenage boy in Greensburg Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as 13-year-old Craig Roberts, a student at Greensburg Junior High School.

Officers with the Greensburg Police Department responded to a 911 call in the 1000 block of North Carver Street at 5:43 p.m.

The investigation is still ongoing as police say the death may be a result of an accidental shooting, according to Greensburg Detective Bill Meyerrose.

An autopsy could be conducted by the Decatur County Coroner as early as Wednesday.
