Dillsboro- LifeTime Housing Group, Inc. is announced it has received a $300,000 grant from Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. LifeTime Housing Group, Inc. will use these funds to complete home repairs and modifications on 15 homes in Dearborn and/or Ripley County during 2014.

The homeowner or a resident of the home must be 55 years or older and/or disabled in order to receive grant assistance.

General Contractors interested in completing the home repairs and modifications must be insured.

Home repairs and modifications can address the safety and structural soundness of the home. Grant funds can also address accessibility needs such as roll in showers and access ramps. Energy efficiency may also be addressed with grant funds.

Over the last decade, LifeTime Housing Group, Inc. has assisted nearly seventy local low income homeowners with grant funded home repairs and modifications. These projects have helped residents remain independent in their home longer by enhancing their accessibility and creating a safe, efficient home.
