Glenn Edwin Spurlock, age 67 of Butlerville, Indiana , entered this life on June 1, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia . He was the son of the late, Rexford Paul & Violet Harper Spurlock. He was united in marriage to Judy Carol Collins September 18, 1997 . Glenn had been a truck driver for Union Carbide of Charleston, West Virginia for approximately 25 years. In more recent years, he had driven for Warner Trucking Company of Indianapolis. He will be sadly missed by his family & friends.

Many grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren survive

He was preceded in death by, one brother Paul Spurlock Jr & one sister: Eleanor Spurlock Crites.

The Batesville United Methodist Church, in partnership with Margaret Mary Health, will soon be offering a cancer support group whose goal is to ensure access to valuable community resources to those living with cancer. The group will also provide hope, encouragement, education and sanctuary. HOPE will meet on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Batesville United Methodist Church and will feature a guest speaker, time for topic discussion and fellowship. The Batesville community and beyond are invited to attend! The first session is scheduled for Thursday, June 26 and will feature a discussion around the emotional rollercoaster of cancer and the fear of recurrence.
